Magoebaskloof Hiking Trail is situated near the town of Tzaneen in the Limpopo province. The trails are laid out on the forestry estate but most of the walks takes you through magnificent sub-tropical, indigenous forests, over craggy ravines and along cascading waterfalls, beautiful pristine mountain streams, rivers and dams
The difficulty rating of the trail ranges from moderate to difficult and a certain degree of fitness is required, especially if you are planning to do the 5 day trail. The 2 day trail is suitable for families
This trail has three different starting points from De Hoek hut, Broederstroom hut or Woodbush hut.
The shortest trail is 20,5km and the longest is 62,4km.

The six huts are either old forestry buildings or modern purpose-built wooden chalets.
This hut has 24 bunk beds, two showers, one toilet, hot water and electricity. Braai facilities are available.
